Thank God and Salakay issue 1 is up! Well, its first page that is LOL! And the ish cover will just follow later... my apologies.

Anyways, this has been a long-overdue personal project, and I'm glad that it has finally been realized!

If you notice, the art style, specifically the lines and coloring, isn't a familiar scene here at rhardozed gallery.

Yes... quick lines, quick art, quick coloring... all quicks! I didn't mean I was able to finish it in one day... no! Let's just say this isn't the standard process I usually do for a comic page. And due to the very limited time that I have (you know... finding the right time to insert this in between projects), I chose to stick with this kind of approach. Quick but doable.

So, here you go, migoics and migaics... the one that I've promised for a very, very long time... Salakay #1 page 1. Enjoy!

By the way, webcomic will be updated monthly. Yeah, I know... I'm a sloth and it sucks. But I just don't want to pressure myself doing multiple updates in one month. This is just a hobby... and I don't wish it to become an obligation or something... you know. Thanks!

hahah! salamat sa comment, sarge. wala pa naman akong balak iprint ito in colors if ever man. or i could resort to print-on-demand order kung matapos na yung issue. as for the pages, base sa script ko, it will most likely reach 12. so, parang whole-year project po to since 1 page/month kasi update ko rito. maybe i could compress it and make it a 10-pager issue (excluding ads... naks! just a wishful thinking). let's see how this goes. salamat, sarge!

Glad you are getting your project off the ground.
This is very effective for a first page.
It draws the reader in with an interesting, dangerous situation, and also makes me wonder what turn of events lead to the hero's predicament.

Keep it going.
